Group 4 Securicor (G4S) Malawi part of a multinational security company headquartered in the United Kingdom has written the Ministry of Labour blocking any international probe into gross abuse of the security guards in its employ—barely a few weeks after threatening legal action against the workers union following bad mouthing in the press.

G4S Malawi is said to be short-changing the guards in their overtime payment while the work under venerable conditions in most cases with no proper protective material.

An international labour union delegation will be visiting South Africa on a fact finding mission after it was alleged that managers of one of the country's largest security companies called their employees "k*****s" and "baboons".

The mission, organised by Service Employees International Union, is part of an international campaign against Group 4 Securicor (G4S) — the world's largest security company — that according to the union's website is responsible for "bad practices" across the globe.
